I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist BACP & UKCP. I have degrees in Philosophy and Integrative Counselling, and an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy.
My experience includes work with adults and adolescents on a range of issues including relationship difficulties, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, low confidence, anxiety, stress, bereavement and loss.
I have a particular interest in supporting women to improve their emotional and psychological well-being, and have worked with Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid (BSWAID).
I have worked with young people and teenagers as a school counsellor, volunteering at Place2Be in local deprived areas, and have a wide experience of both men and women with a wide range of issues at Cedar Counselling.
I am also a visiting Lecturer in Counselling at Newman University.
Before becoming a Counsellor I have had previous careers as an Adult Education Teacher, Tutor and Assessor; Manager for W.M.P.A and successful business owner.
I am also a Lecturer at Newman University, teaching the Certificate in Counselling.
